3. simplify fractions
4. find equivelent fractions
5. find the least common denominator
5. add and subtract fractions with like and unlike denominators
6. add and subtract fractions, mixed numbers and whole numbers
7. convert mixed numbers to improper fractions and vice versa
8. multiply and divide mixed numbers, whole numbers and fractions
9. find percents
10. convert fractions, decimals and percents

1. compare and order decimals
2. round, multiply, and divide decimals and whole numbers
3. add and subtract decimals and whole numbers
4. convert improper fractions to mixed numbers and convert mixed numbers to improper fractions
5. add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions, whole numbers and mixed numbers
6. convert fractions to decimals, fractions to percents, decimals to fractions and decimals to percents, percents to fractions and percents to decimals
7. solve word problems involving decimals, fractions and percents

During the 1st Trimester, the Pre Algebra students will be able to:
1. simplify expressions and solve equations using variables
2. simplify and evaluate problems involving exponents
3. solve addition, subtraction, multiplication and division equations
4. write expressions and equations from phrases
examples: "12 more than a number" --> n + 12
" 3 more than 4 times a number is 23" --> 4n + 3 = 23
5. solve 2-step equations
6. add, subtract, multiply and divide using integers
7. solve equations involving integers
8. simplify ratios and rates
9. solve proportions
10. convert fractions to decimals, fractions to percents, percents to decimals, percents to fractions, decimals to percents and decimals to fractions.
